UPON MY ARRIVAL OBSERVED A CUSTOMER INSIDE THE DINING ROOM WITH A PET DOG, NOT A SERVICE ANIMAL, SITTING AT THE BOOTH HAVING LUNCH. PET DOGS SITTING ALSO ON THE BOOTH BY THE COSTUMER SNIFFING VERY CLOSE TO THE PLATE FULL OF FOOD. ASKED THE EMPLOYEE IF THE DOG WAS A SERVICE DOG. HE STATED, " NO, BUT THE PERSON IS DOG SITTING AND COULDN'T LEAVE THE DOG ANYWHERE ELSE" EMPLOYEE CONSENTED FOR THE DOG TO BE INSIDE THE RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT AND DID NOT ASK THE CUSTOMER TO REMOVE THE DOG. REVIEWED WITH MANAGEMENT THAT LIVES ANIMALS MAY NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES OF A RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION 7-40-060 CITATION ISSUED.
